Open to everyone, Fernleigh offers a host of day and night time refreshment and entertainment options in our range of spaces.

Experience the elegance of Fernleigh’s Bar and Café, where curated fine wines and signature cocktails are served alongside gourmet coffee and a wide range of freshly prepared cakes, snacks and light lunches. Whether you’re joining us for a relaxed morning coffee, a glass of wine during the day, a light bite with friends, pre-theatre drinks or an intimate gathering, Fernleigh offers a setting to suit every occasion.

Guests are welcome to settle into the elegant bar or the refined surroundings of the Georgian Room, with additional seating available in the light-filled Blue Lounge during the day (subject to availability). Our team pride themselves on warm, personal service, ensuring every visit feels both considered and welcoming. Dogs are warmly welcomed in the bar and lounge areas (excluding the Cowdray Farm Shop), making Fernleigh the perfect place to pause if you’re shopping in town or enjoying a walk along the historic city walls with your four-legged companion.

Open to all, Fernleigh offers a refined yet relaxed space to meet, unwind and enjoy. Food is served until 3pm.

Light lunches are served until 3pm. Wine, cocktails and other bar drinks are available throughout café opening hours.
